When John Lewandowski passed away in the summer of 1995 the next generation stood up. Matt changed his focus from pre-med to surveying and took over the operation of the firm. Patrick cut back on his musical touring and took over the field crew. Michael, who had been working as an inspector, returned to the firm. Donna Lewandowski, married to Matt, brought her skills as a CPA to take over the financial sector. In February, 1995, we purchased the former Bell & Beckwith building at 234 N. Erie Street in the downtown Toledo business district. Rehabbing was a part-time job for several years.
