A topographic survey typically indicates the grade of the surveyed parcel along with known underground utilities, as determined by a review of city records and an Ohio Utility Protection Service (OUPS) field mark-out. In addition to the known underground utilities the following information is typically provided; manholes and catch basins with inverts; utility poles; fire hydrants; curbs/edges of pavement; trees; and fencing. The survey will also indicate buildings and any other improvements made to the parcel. Lewandowski Engineers provides contours on a 0.5’ or 1’ interval and elevations on a 25’ or 50’ grid depending on the client’s requirements.
